Gary L Gallagher, MD
Dr. Gallagher grew up Central Oregon, returning in 2002 to start a private practice. He graduated with honors in Chemistry from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and obtained his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University.
He interned at Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut, and was a resident in General Surgery at Yale University. Dr. Gallagher completed a post-doctoral research fellowship while at Yale, studying vascular cell biology.
His plastic surgery training was through RUSH-Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He then completed a fellowship at the prestigious Aesthetic Surgery Institute in San Francisco, studying under facelift pioneer John Q. Owsley, MD.
Dr. Gallagher stays actively involved in overseas medical missions for cleft lip and palate surgery. He has treated children in the Philippines, Guatemala, and Venezuela.
He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has staff privileges at Bend Surgery Center, Cascade Surgery Center, Central Oregon Surgery Center, and St. Charles Medical Center. He is a financial partner of Bend Surgery Center, LLC.
